House Plant App
A game app for the 13 to 21 year old demographic, in which the user scanning real plants in their neighborhood to collect real information on the plant. The plants are collected for their virtual garden. The user becomes more active and more knowledgeable about plants. I worked on this project with a partner, Joanne Mendoza
Process
During the wireframe and screen testing phase, we had difficulty figuring out how intuitive growing the plant was. We had different thoughts on growing the plants through water, fertilizer, and seeds. We decided to simplify the process by allowing the user to grow any plant in their collection, and use water to grow/level up the plants.
